President Bola Tinubu has departed from Lagos for Abuja, where he is scheduled to oversee the unveiling of projects undertaken by the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
Departing from the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, at 11:43 AM, President Tinubu was bid farewell by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and various government officials.
During his stay in Lagos, the President initiated the official commencement of construction for the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, a 700-kilometre project aimed at enhancing economic growth and development in rural communities.
Furthermore, President Tinubu inaugurated the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway, the rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge, and virtually launched the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges nationwide.
Upon arrival in Abuja, the President will oversee the commissioning of various projects, including the southern Parkway from Christian Centre to Ring Road One.
