Ten people in Antsa community have been injured following an attack by suspected herdsmen on Monday morning.
Antsa community is located on the North Bank – J.S. Tarka University of Agriculture, Makurdi, busy road in Benue state.
The road also provides access for those traveling to Gbajimba in Guma Local Government Area.
As early as 7 a.m. on Monday, youths mounted roadblocks on the busy University Community road.
They prevented vehicles and motorcycles from passing through.
As of press time, the youths vowed to remain on the road until authorities address them on the security challenges.
