President Bola Tinubu has celebrated the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his 59th birthday anniversary.
Before entering public service, Governor Sanwo-Olu had a distinguished career in the private sector, rising through the leadership ranks.
He was first elected as governor in 2019 and re-elected in 2023 for a second term.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, June 25, by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu wished Governor Sanwo-Olu many more years of good health, wisdom, and energy in his service to Lagos State and the nation.
“President Bola Tinubu congratulates the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his birthday.
“Governor Sanwo-Olu had a successful career in the private sector before joining the public service, scaling the leadership ladder.
“Mr. Sanwo-Olu was elected Governor of Lagos State in 2019 and re-elected in 2023 for a second term in office.
“The President prays for many more years in good health for the Governor and wishes him more wisdom and energy in his service to Lagos State and the nation”, the statement said.
