Manchester United is set to hire former Chelsea technical director Christopher Vivell to bolster their recruitment efforts.
Initially joining on a short-term basis to assist during the current transfer window, there is potential for Christopher Vivell to stay longer as the club seeks to enhance its football leadership and recruitment departments.
Vivell, who was placed on gardening leave by Chelsea last July just seven months after joining the club, has a notable background, having previously worked for the Red Bull group in Salzburg and Leipzig.
This move aligns with the recent confirmation of Dan Ashworth’s appointment as United’s sporting director.
Ashworth, Vivell, and United’s technical director Jason Wilcox will collaborate closely in the coming weeks to strengthen Erik ten Hag’s squad.
