Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) have apprehended 16 miscreants at Terminal 3 in the Oshodi area of the state.

The state Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed this in a video shared on X.com on Tuesday.

According to him, the move was to maintain law and order in the state.

He wrote, ‘”Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) #LAGESCOfficial earlier today apprehended 16 miscreants at Terminal 3 in Oshodi”

The arrest is part of the state government’s zero-tolerance policy towards miscreants and hoodlums, who have been causing trouble in various parts of the state.

Meanwhile, Wahab also hinted that KAI operatives also discovered a styrofoam packs warehouse in Idumota.

“The product has been confiscated and taken to the Taskforce Office for incineration,” Wahab said.

He added that operatives of the Drainage Maintenance Department on Monday, also continued with the cleaning/de-flooding, maintenance dredging and evacuation of silts from Coker Bridge to Alafia Bridge Primary Channel, and Surulere Local Government Area to prevent flooding in the axis.
