Bakinpah-Maro Community of Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna State came under attack on Sunday as terrorists, in their numbers, invaded a church in the area, killing three persons and abducting several others, including a pastor.
While the police are yet to comment on the incident, Cafra Caino, the former chairman of Kajuru LGA, confirmed the incident, saying 30 persons were taken away by the terrorists.
“The terrorists, who arrived arround 10:00am in large numbers, targeted the ECWA and Catholic church.Among those abducted is Bernard Gajera, a pastor from one of the churches.”
It would be recalled that recently, the community raised funds to build a security post for law enforcement agents as part of efforts to attract more security personnel in the area.
The community was repeatedly attacked by the terrorists, forcing farmers to abandoned their farms.
