British boxer Daniel Dubois successfully defended his IBF heavyweight title, knocking out Anthony Joshua in a brutal fashion in the fifth round of their bout at the Wembley Stadium, London.

Dubois dominated the fight from start to finish knocking Joshua out in the first round, third round, and fourth round before earning a final knockout against the former champion.

Before being knocked out, Joshua seemed to be on the front foot hitting Dubois with several shots but got hit by a counter shot that sent him to the canvas. The former heavyweight champion was unable to beat the count.

“Credit to him and his team,” Joshua said after the loss. “We rolled the dice today and came up short, we’ll roll it again.”
