Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has provided an update on his surgery.
Saka will be sidelined for several months after sustaining a hamstring injury in the 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace on December 20.
Arsenal defeated Ipswich Town 1-0 in their first game without Saka and are set to face Brentford on New Year’s Day without the England international.
Saka was substituted in the 24th minute against Crystal Palace and replaced by Leandro Trossard.
Saka posted a photo of himself in the hospital bed following his surgery.
He wrote in the caption of his Instagram post, “The majority see obstacles, but few see the opportunities.
“Recovery has begun and I’m coming back stronger! Thank you all for your messages.”
Saka has scored nine goals and provided 13 assists in 24 games across competitions.
