A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa has issued a statement refuting recent false claims about his involvement in leading the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests.
In a Facebook post, Adegboruwa emphasised that he never made the statements attributed to him, and that these claims are not reflected on any social media platforms or Channels TV.
“Fake News!!! I never said this anywhere at all. And it is not in any of the social media platforms or Channels TV. Obviously, there are elements working to cause disaffection. I could not be a protest leader because I did not start the protests. I only made an appeal to the protesters to call it off”, He stated.
Adegboruwa’s statement aims to address and correct the misinformation circulating about his role in the protests.
