The Flying Eagles of Nigeria booked a spot in the final of the WAFU B U-20 Championship after a 3-1 comeback win over Niger Republic.

With that feat, the Nigerian junior national team also earned a spot at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations following the win.

Niger Republic took the lead after nine minutes at the Stade Municipal, Lome.

The Flying Eagles recovered from the early setback and dominated the game afterwards.

Enyimba forward Clinton Jephta levelled for Nigeria 10 minutes before the break.

Jephta gave Nigeria the lead for the first time in the game 13 minutes after the break.

The Flying Eagles netted the third in added time, through Olalekan Alonge.

Aliyu Zubairu’s side will face Ghana in the final of the competition.
