It has been gathered that the gory incident occurred in the early hours of Monday. The man allegedly took his own life after drinking an insecticide. The Federal Government has flagged off the distribution of 21,924 bags of rice to various indigent groups in Katsina State. Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, the Northwest representative of the Presidential Committee on Food Security, flagged off the event at the Government House’ People’s Square in Katsina on Sunday. The hierarchy of the Nigeria Police Force has said it was not ready to engage in media with Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State. The police, however, faulted the allegations by the governor and said they were only conforming to a court order barring the force from participating in the LGA elections. The Nobel jury described their discovery as groundbreaking and essential for multicellular organisms, including humans.
