In its drive to ensure conversion of vehicles from petrol and diesel to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), the Federal Government has announced the delivery of 1.200 conversion kits to five states of the federation. Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 general election, has been released following his detention at Lagos airport. In the aftermath of the current economic hardship bedeviling the country and the citizenry, the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has filed a lawsuit against President Bola Tinubu, requesting a reduction in the petrol price from N845 per litre to N600 per litre.
