Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has urged President Bola Tinubu, to direct the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) and appropriate anti-corruption agencies, to promptly and thoroughly investigate the spending of $1.5bn World Bank loan obtained by the 36 states and Abuja for poverty reduction and social protection across the states. Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has said that the state government will soon make a pronouncement on a new retirement age for nurses in the state from 60 years to 65 years. Katie Price has been arrested at Heathrow Airport for failing to attend court and taken into police custody. An arrest warrant was issued for the former model on 30 July after she failed to attend a court hearing relating to her bankruptcies.
