In a bid to tackle revenue leakage the Federal Government, FG, is set to deploy a new revenue flow architecture known as ‘Revenue Assurance and Central Disbursement Solutions’ for its Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAS), as well as, FG-Owned Enterprises. To this end, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, met relevant stakeholders in Abuja yesterday, to fine-tune the deployment of the system. Nigeria has about 40.2 million agricultural households, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has said. This was made known at the unveiling of the National Agricultural Sample Census(NASC) 2022 in Abuja on Monday. The Assistant General Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Chris Onyeka, says many state governors are flouting the Minimum Wage Act because they do not believe in sanctity of the law.
