A press statement by Gboyega Akosile, the Special Adviser (Media & Publicity) to Governor Sanwo-Olu, said  Mr. Ajetunmobi’s suspension comes on the heels of the misrepresentation of facts on his personal “X” account on a past incident. “The governor wishes to state categorically that his administration frowns at any form of extra judicial punishment and will not be a part of any such action. Nigerian investors in the diaspora has written an open letter to President Bola Tinubu, seeking his intervention in a dispute over the demolition of WinHomes Estate in Okun Ajah, Lagos State. The Northern Youth Assembly, a coalition representing youths from the 19 northern states of Nigeria, has threatened the Board of Trustees (BOT) of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), saying the BOT suspended its chairman in order to please President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Naira on Monday depreciated at the official market trading at N1,675.62 against the dollar. Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange, revealed that the Naira lost N23. This represents a 1.39 percent loss when compared to the previous trading date on Friday, Nov. 22 when it exchanged at N1,652.62 to a dollar. Armed men suspected to be marauding Fulani herders from outside the country have massacred at least 30 people in coordinated attack on Kastina-Ala and Logo Local Government Areas of Benue State. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has amended the $35.4 million money laundering charge filed against cryptocurrency trading firm Binance Holdings Limited. The move came after the discharge of Tigran Gambaryan, the second defendant in the case, and in compliance with a court directive to tidy up court documents.
