The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) has commenced the tracking of 106 constituency and executive projects worth ₦41billion across Kano State. Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has given an order of interim injunction restraining the All Progressives Congress (APC) from concluding its ongoing ward, local government area and state congresses in the state. The Supreme Court, on Friday, nullified the National Lottery Act 2005 enacted by the National Assembly. A seven-member panel of the Supreme Court in a unanimous judgment held that the National Lottery Act 2005 should no longer be enforced in all states, except the Federal Capital Territory, in respect of which the National Assembly is empowered to make laws.
