The Edo State House of Assembly has approved Governor Monday Okpebholo’s request to appoint 20 special advisers to enhance the effective administration of the state. This approval followed a letter submitted by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Musa Ikhilor, seeking the House’s consent for these appointments. The Police Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday approved the appointment of Assistant Inspector- General of Police (AIG) Ari Mohammed Ali as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) to replace DIG Ade Ayuba who has retired from service.
