A complex investigation by the United Kingdom (UK) police has led to four Nigerians being sentenced for violent disorder following an incident in Leicester in November 2021. The fight, which broke out during the early hours of Thursday 4 November 2021, involved weapons being used including knives and a baseball bat. A man, who was 18 at the time, suffered stab wound injuries in the incident requiring hospital treatment. Three members of the Community Vigilante Services (AVS) were on Monday killed by gunmen suspected to be enforcing Sit-At-Home in Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State and set their vehicle ablaze.
