In a bid to restore order and ensure smooth traffic flow, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has impounded 40 (25 commercial and 15 private) vehicles operating illegal garages and causing road obstructions in Oyingbo, Ijora, and Idumota areas. This was disclosed in a statement by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, on X.com.on Friday. Aint-Graft agency – the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday continued with its alleged money laundering charge preferred against Tigran Gambaryan, an executive of Binance Holdings Ltd at a Federal High Court, Abuja. The criminal charge continued before Justice Emeka Nwite inspite of the withdrawal of a charge by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) against Gambaryan in the alleged tax evasion case filed against him and the cryptocurrency exchange platform. An Akure High Court, in Ondo state has declared as unconditional and illegal the creation of the 33 Local Government Development Areas (LCDAs) by the Ondo State government. Justice Adegboyega Adebusoye, in his verdict described the LCDAS signed into law by late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as inchoate and not lawfully created. West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Nigeria says it would gradually eliminate the use of papers in the conduct of its examinations. Dr Amos Dangut, Head of National Office, disclosed this on Thursday after monitoring the conduct of the ongoing West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in Abeokuta.
