The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Friday, slated September 18 to deliver its judgement on a suit that is seeking to remove the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, from office. The court, presided by Justice Inyang Ekwo, fixed the date after all the parties adopted their final briefs of argument. NNPC Limited, in collaboration with NIPCO Plc, has opened 12 new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations in Abuja and Lagos as the Federal Government’s push for CNG adoption as alternative fuel to petrol gathered momentum. Speaking at the commissioning of the stations, which took place simultaneously across the two cities, the Minister of State Petroleum Resources (Gas), Hon Ekperikpe Ekpo, said that with Nigeria’s abundant gas resources, CNG would become the fuel for motorists in the country.
