The Ogun State Police Command, on Sunday, promised to increase its presence in some flashpoints across the state to ensure that the security of the residents is never threatened during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration. The Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr Jide Idris has blamed the outbreak of cholera in the country on poor sanitation, personal and environmental hygiene, and lack of access to clean water.
