The Senate on Thursday expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of Nigeria’s electricity Distribution Companies (Discos) and the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), since the privatisation of the power sector. The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of 12 aircrafts in the past 12 months. These include two KA-360i aircraft, four DA-62 aircraft, four T-129 helicopters, and two AW-109 Trekker helicopters. Norway’s parliament on Tuesday adopted legislation extending the legal limit for abortion from 12 to 18 weeks in the Scandinavian country. Legislators voted by a broad majority in favour of a proposal by the centre-left minority government that has been split on the issue.
