Three personnel of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have been hospitalised with gunshot wounds following a violent attack during a raid operation in Abuja on Thursday night. The officers were ambushed by unknown gunmen in the Jahi area of the Federal Capital Territory after raiding an uncompleted building at the NNPC section of the district. Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have attacked the newly resettled Yamtake community in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, killing two soldiers and an undisclosed number of civilians. Fuji music star, Taye Adebisi, popularly known as Taye Currency has disclosed that he lost N10 million to the ponzi scheme known as CBEX which recently crashed. The Lagos State Police Command has debunked a publication in some newspapers dated April 17, 2025 claiming that hundreds of Boko Haram suspects have been apprehended in Lagos. The command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin refuted this in a statement on Friday in Lagos. Nigeria’s foreign minister and his counterpart from Niger Republic met on Wednesday and both parties held talks on cross-border security, terrorism and economic cooperation. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reelected Barrister Kamorudeen Ajisafe as the party’s South-West zonal chairman. Similarly, the PDP in the zone also reelected wife of late chieftain of the party, Alhaja Bose Adedibu as its women leader.
