The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says three drug kingpins and 16 other offenders have been convicted and sentenced to a total of 302 years in prison. NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Friday, said they were sentenced for trafficking and dealing in illicit drugs. They were convicted for trafficking cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, cannabis, and opioids among others. Nigeria’s senior women’s football team, the Super Falcons, have retained their 36th position in the latest global ranking by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association. The Executive Secretary, Universal Basic Education Commission, Hamid Bobboyi, has disclosed that over 30 per cent of the Nigeria’s teaching workforce left the service within the past three years.
