Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has suspended his Senior Special Assistant, SSA, on civil societies, Comrade Emmanuel Adebisi over the alleged diversion of 70 bags of rice. The civil society coalition in the State through its Secretary, Comrade Olowu Emmanuel had disclosed that the bags of rice collected in their name was never delivered. “There has never been a time, since the coming of this administration that anything meant for civil societies delivered. Rivers United have appointed Finidi George as their new head coach. Finidi was unveiled by the former Nigeria Premier Football League champions in Port Harcourt on Wednesday. Flooding has overtaken residential areas and major roads across Lagos State following days of heavy rainfall. The House of Representatives has resolved to investigate promotion stagnation in the Federal Civil Service from 2013 to 2023. The resolution was a sequel to a motion moved by Rep. Salman Idris, the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Agric Colleges and Institutions in Abuja.
