Eighty-one suspected hoodlums have been arrested by Sokoto State Police Command in connection to the violence and vandalism that followed the nationwide protest against hunger in the state. The Ebonyi State Police Command has confirmed an attack on a military checkpoint along Amangwu axis of the Amasiri-Owutu Federal road in Edda Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
