Ahead of the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, on Wednesday, unveiled a 197-man council to lead its campaign. In the list released by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, Cross River State Governor, Bassey Otu, was appointed as the chairman of the campaign council. Spanish club Sevilla have announced the signing of Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho on a two-year contract, with an option for an additional year. The 27-year-old striker joins Sevilla as their fifth signing of the summer transfer window. Iheanacho previously played for Leicester City in the Premier League, where he scored 61 goals and provided 34 assists in 232 appearances.
