The Central Bank of Nigeria has reaffirmed the validity of the old N1000, N500, and N200 banknotes as legal tender, clarifying misinformation circulating about their status. A total sum of ₦1.727 trillion, being November 2024 Federation Accounts Revenue, has been shared to the Federal Government, States and the Local Government Councils.
