A three-member panel of justices led by Justice Okon Abang, on Friday, unanimously halted the implementation of the January 10 judgment, which vacated the nullification of Sanusi II’s appointment by a Kano State High Court, which it held was done without jurisdiction. Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has again written to the Rivers State House of Assembly, proposing Wednesday, March 19, 2025, as the new date for the presentation of the 2025 state budget.
