Gunmen have killed Fabian Chinedu, a staff member of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, in Anambra State. The official was shot dead by gunmen on Monday night at Aroma Junction in Awka, the police said. The Federal Executive Council has given final approval to the 2025 budget to be presented by President Bola Tinubu. The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, disclosed this to State House correspondents following the council’s last meeting for 2024 at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
