The British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Richard Montgomery, has assured Nigerians in the UK of their safety following anti-immigration riots. Montgomery gave the assurance on Wednesday while meeting with the CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in Abuja. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final register of voters for the upcoming governorship elections in Edo and Ondo, an official has said. The National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee in the state, Mr Sam Olumekun, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday. The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, has revealed that the country currently spends $600m on fuel importation monthly.
