The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has deployed more officers to tackle fuel queue gridlock in some parts of the state, warning against indiscriminate parking. Fuel queues have resurfaced in Lagos State owing to the scarcity of fuel. Motorists are spending hours to get the product even at higher prices in filling stations across the state. The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has urgently appealed to Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to secure the release of 20 medical students abducted while traveling to Enugu for a conference.
