Access Holdings is offering 17.772 billion ordinary shares of 50 kobo each to existing shareholders at N19.75 per share. The offer opened on Monday, July 08, 2024. The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has received N50 billion from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from the proceeds of crime. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, NELFUND, Mr. Akintunde Sawyerr confirmed this during his visit to the Chairman of EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede. The Federal Court of Appeal sitting in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Tuesday dismissed the sack of a former deputy speaker of the State House of Assembly, Mr Iroju Ogundeji, ordering the respondent to be reinstated. The judgement came four years after the suit was instituted as Ogundeji challenged his sack by the leadership of the 9th Assembly of the state, led by the former Speaker, Mr Bamidele Oloyeloogun. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abuja Zonal Directorate said it has secured the conviction and sentence of five internet fraudsters. A statement by the commission’s Head, Media & Publicity, Dele Oyewale on Tuesday, said the five convicts were jailed on Monday by Justice C.O. Agashieze of the Federal Capital Territory High Court on a one-count separate charge bordering on obtaining by pretence. The Branch Controller of the West Africa Examination Council in charge of Ogun State, Ayobami Suberu, has denied reports that the Ogun State Government is owing the examination body.
