A Lagos High Court has restricted protesters in Lagos taking part in the proposed August 1 nationwide protest, to the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in Ojota and Peace Park, Ketu area of the state. Aviation authorities in Nigeria have grounded aircraft belonging to Arik Air over a controversial $2.5m debt. The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) on Tuesday said the move was a sequel to an order by the enforcement department of the FCT High Court, regarding a debt of $2.5m owed by Arik to Atlas Petroleum International Ltd. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has apprehended nine individuals suspected of involvement in internet fraud. They were arrested on Monday in the Wuye area of Abuja, following an intelligence-led operation by the Commission’s Abuja Zonal Directorate. Security operatives in Anambra State have arrested a herbalist, identified simply as Ezekiel with about 11 different human bones in his possession. It was gathered that the suspect, who hails from Ezza in Ebonyi State was arrested over the weekend by security operatives in Neni, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, where he resides. Seventeen human skulls buried in metal boxes have been unearthed at a suspected shrine in the centre of Uganda, police told AFP on Tuesday. Children foraging for firewood outside Kabanga village near Mpigi town, about 40 kilometres (24 miles) west of the capital Kampala, made the grisly discovery on Monday, according to local media.
