A Deputy Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kogi State, Adam Imam Yusuf, has been arrested over the alleged diversion of more than ₦3 billion. Approved under the regulatory guidance of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, the project cuts across agriculture, water resources, and aviation sectors. The defendants, who were arraigned before Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court in Lagos, pleaded not guilty to the charges. Major General Christopher Jemitola, former Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, died on Thursday after collapsing at the IBB Golf Club in Abuja.
