Road accident has claimed the lives of two female students of Kogi State. The two female students — one from the Federal University, Lokoja and another from the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja — lost their lives in a motor accident that occured in Lokoja on Friday.
It was gathered that a heavily loaded articulated vehicle heading for Abuja along the Felele axis of the state capital (where the two schools are located) lost control and rammed into a tricycle popularly referred to as Keke NAPEP, that was carrying passengers heading to the main town.
A source added that the two female students were in the tricycle along with two other passengers who were seriously injured.
The identification cards of the students revealed their identities.
