#EndBadGovernance: Tinubu’s Solution Will Further Land Nigerians In Intensive Care Unit – Bode George

Chief Olabode George, a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Friday says President Bola Tinubu’s solutions to the challenges facing the country will further land Nigerians in intensive care unit (ICU).

Sharing his thoughts on Arise Television on the ongoing  #EndBadGovernance Protest, George said protest by Nigerians is their constitutional rights which also serves as means of feedback to the federal government on its policies.

“Part of democracy is the reaction and feedback to Government on their policies. If people decide that they are not satisfied, they want to go on protest, why not? It is part of their constitutional right. But the way it was managed in certain states calls for questions. Government should not debar people from exercising their rights”.

“We are not in a military government. I supported the fact that people should go out peacefully why they are not happy. It is a feedback. When you get the feedback, it is incumbent on you to go back to your drawing board and review your policies”.

“When I heard the comment by the president that he has heard Nigerians, I was happy with that. But the solutions that he has proffered will further land us in an intensive care unit. He is not giving solutions that are going to be palatable or acceptable to the people.l of this country”.

“They need to go back to their drawing board and assess tne situation. It is better to teach the people how to fish rather than spending all that money buying palliatives for over 200 million people. How are these palliatives distributed? This is a digital world”
