Tinuade Ladoja, wife of former Oyo State governor and Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Rashidi Ladoja, has passed away at the age of 71.
She died on Monday morning following a brief illness.
Her death was confirmed by Adeola Oloko, media aide to former Governor Ladoja, who said, “Yes, it is confirmed. She is dead. May God repose her soul.”
Tinuade Ladoja was a prominent member of the Pastor-in-Council of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), the church’s highest decision-making body.
The CCC Ikeja Parish 1 Cathedral, where she worshipped, also confirmed her passing in a Facebook post, stating, “We submit to His will. #farewell.”
