Nigeria’s Super Falcons have maintained their 36th position globally in the latest FIFA women’s ranking.

The team, under the guidance of coach Randy Waldrum, also continues to hold the top spot in Africa.

South Africa’s Banyana Banyana remain the second-highest ranked team on the continent, sitting at 51st in the world rankings.

Following closely, the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco are positioned third in Africa and 56th globally.

On the global stage, Spain’s La Roja solidified their standing as the number one team in the world.

France’s Les Bleues moved up to second place, causing England to drop to third.

Germany also made significant progress, overtaking the United States to claim the fourth spot.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking is scheduled for release on August 16, 2024.
