I’m Staying At Al Nassr -Cristiano Ronaldo

Al Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo will not be leaving the Saudi Pro League club when his current contract expires at the end of June.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from Al Nassr, fuelled by his “this chapter is over” post on Instagram barely an hour after scoring in the club’s final game of the season in May.

He was most recently linked with Al Hilal, who will be participating in the upcoming Club World Cup, but shot down the rumour.

However, football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated in an X post on Monday that the Portugal captain is ready to extend his Al Nassr stay and is even prepared to pen a new deal.

Romano said, “Cristiano Ronaldo confirms plan to stay at Al Nassr by signing a new deal.

“My future? Basically, nothing is gonna change. Staying at Al Nassr? Yea.”

The 40-year-old joined Al Nassr in December 2022 and scored 35 goals in 31 matches, setting a new record for the most goals in a single Saudi Pro League season.

In the 2024-25 season, he scored 25 goals in 30 matches, again winning the Golden Boot.

On Sunday, Ronaldo helped Portugal reclaim the UEFA Nations League title after defeating Spain on penalties.
