The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has demanded immediate dissolution of the governing councils of universities recently announced by the federal government. Members of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University branch of ASUU, who took to the streets with placards on Tuesday, urged President Bola Tinubu to reverse the decision, arguing that due process was not followed in the appointments.
