A 47-year-old man, Emmanuel Chukwuma, has been arrested by the Lagos State police for stabbing his 45-year-old girlfriend, Bosede Adefehinti, to death on 7th Avenue, Festac. According to information gathered, the man, popularly known as Oliver on the street, was living with the woman as boyfriend and girlfriend, not as a married couple. Findings revealed that although they had no child together, the man had a child elsewhere. In a bid to tackle revenue leakage the Federal Government, FG, is set to deploy a new revenue flow architecture known as ‘Revenue Assurance and Central Disbursement Solutions’ for its Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAS), as well as, FG-Owned Enterprises. Nigeria has about 40.2 million agricultural households, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has said. This was made known at the unveiling of the National Agricultural Sample Census(NASC) 2022 in Abuja on Monday. The Assistant General Secretary of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Chris Onyeka, says many state governors are flouting the Minimum Wage Act because they do not believe in sanctity of the law.
