Ethiopian Airlines has announced that the Nigerian government is no longer interested in partnership aimed at establishing the proposed Nigeria Air project. The Airlines’ Group Chief Executive Officer, Mesfin Tasew, made the announcement in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, according to Ethiopian Tribune. “The Nigerian government has lost interest in partnering with a foreign airline,” Tasew was quoted as saying. Abia State Government has suspended the restriction on the operation of tricycle and motorcycle operation in the state. The suspension was contained in a statement issued Monday by the Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu. Government had last week, given July first as the commencement date for the restriction of tricycle and motorcycle operation between 7pm and 6am. According to the statement, the suspension is as a result of pleas from members of the public. A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a suit by the detained leader of the separatist group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu seeking N1billion damages for alleged right violation.
