Kylian Mbappé underwent his Real Madrid medical on Tuesday ahead of his presentation to fans at the Bernabéu.
MbappĂ©, 25, arrived at the Sanitas clinic in La Moraleja, an exclusive Madrid suburb, just before 9 a.m. Spanish time, posing for cameras and calling his move “a dream.”
He then travelled to the club’s Valdebebas training ground for the formal signing of his new five-year contract with Madrid president Florentino PĂ©rez.
Fans were queueing outside the Bernabéu hours before the presentation was due to start at 12 p.m.
The 85,000-capacity stadium is expected to be full, with tickets — made available for free to club members — having sold out.
Madrid announced last month that Mbappé would join them when his contract at Paris Saint-Germain expired, ending their long pursuit of the star forward.
The France international will be presented to fans, before taking questions from the media in his first news conference as a Real Madrid player.
During his medical on Tuesday morning, doctors were expected to examine MbappĂ©’s broken nose, which he suffered in France’s opening game at Euro 2024.
There has been no confirmation as to whether the injury will require further treatment or surgery.
