Nigerians Abroad Are Willing To Come Back Home Because Of Tinubu’s Performance – Oshun

A member of the House of Representatives representing Lagos Mainland Federal Constituency, Honourable Moshood Oshun, says Nigerians, despite moves to oust the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), will vote for President Bola Tinubu again in the next presidential election.

Speaking in an interview with The Sun, Oshun said Nigerians want good governance and they are getting it under President Tinubu.

The lawmaker said many Nigerians who are living abroad are willing to come back into the country and invest because of Tinubu’s performance.

His words “Members of other parties coming together, I am sure by the time the election comes in 2027, Nigerians would have seen reason to vote APC back into government; because things are getting better in Nigeria, whether you agree or not”.

“For me, I don’t think it (opposition coalition) is something to be afraid of. Nigerians will decide. Nigerians want good governance and they know under APC they will get good governance. So, you can be rest assured that by next election things would have improved more”.

“Things are even improving now. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is doing well. Yes, it is a bit tough. When you want to grow a maize, when you plant the maize, the maize would have to get rotten first, before it starts germinating. We have passed the stage of rottenness. We are now germinating. People are now willing to come to Nigeria to invest”. “Nigerians abroad are willing to come home. The issue of security has improved. So, things are improving. I am not saying we have gotten to the promised land. There is room for improvement and we will continue to improve.

When we talk about the APC administration, it is not just the less than two years of the President Bola Tinubu administration. Buhari was here for eight years, so it is close to 10 years of the APC administration”.

“Yes, if you want to look at the party. But I want to talk about the present government. If you want to tell me that Buhari was in government for eight years, a party was in government for 16 years”.

“A party in Nigeria was in government for 16 years. Can you please tell me one achievement?.So, if you have a party in government for 16 years, that could not point to anything they achieved, you cannot compare that to a government under two years”.
