Secretary to the Ondo State Government, Hon Tayo Oluwatuyi, is dead, it has been gathered.
Oluwatuyi reportedly died in the early hours of Saturday at an undisclosed hospital.
He had been hospitalized following complications he suffered in a fatal road accident while on his way to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The accident, which claimed the lives of some other people in the vehicle immediately was said to have occurred during the deceased trip to Ibadan.
An indigene of Akure, Oluwatuyi was appointed the Secretary to the state government by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on January 24, 2024.
Although the state government has not made any official statement on the passing of the ace politician, many top politicians in the state confirmed the incident.
TheSun.ng has learned that the state government awaiting permission from the family of the deceased before it makes a formal announcement.
