Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed condolences to the family of former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, especially Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, over the death of their first daughter, Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi.

Sanwo-Olu in a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, commiserated with the immediate past Oyo State First Lady, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, over the demise of her daughter, describing it as tragic and shocking.

Sanwo-Olu, who also sympathised with the husband of the deceased, Mr Idris Kola-Daisi, and his family, urged the entire family, friends and associates of the deceased to take her death as an act of God.

The governor said the deceased, who was a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu, lived a short but fulfilled life leaving her footprints on every project she handled for the country and making an impact in many lives that came in contact with her positively, during her lifetime.

He said, “The death of a loved one is very painful, as it is irreparable, but we must always take solace in God, especially if the deceased has lived a good life, just like the late Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi.

”I sympathise with former Oyo State First Lady, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, the widower of the deceased, Mr. Idris Kola-Daisi and the entire Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families over Mrs. Bisola Kola-Daisi’s departure.

”I pray that God will grant the late Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi eternal rest and grant the family and friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and avert such tragedy in the family.”
