A third explosion has rocked Zamfara State in the space of one week as a planted Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded with a truck carrying grains in the state.
The incident occurred on Friday along Malele village to Dansadau area of Maru local government of Zamfara state as a result of an explosion, which marked the third explosion within a week in the area.
The Nigeria Tribune gathered that the explosion occurred between Dansadau to Malele road, involving a truck loaded with grains.
It was further gathered that as of the time of filing in the report, neither the authority nor people from the area had yet to confirm the exact number of casualties.
It was gathered that a similar explosion occurred two days ago that claimed many lives along the same Dansadau road in the state.
The authorities in the state were yet to confirm the incident, but the recent explosion was said to have been masterminded by a group named Lakurawa according to police in the state.
