President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council meeting at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja; the 14th session since the council’s inauguration last August.

Before the meeting commenced, the council observed a minute’s silence in honour of a deceased former member and former Deputy Governor of the Old Sokoto State, Ahmed Gusua who died on May 25, 2024.

The ongoing FEC meeting follows last Wednesday’s decision to step down a memorandum for several key projects domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Works.

The memos are to be considered today.

Present are Vice President Kassim Shettima; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan; the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, as well as other members of Council.
