President Bola Tinubu has sacked the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, along with his deputy, with immediate effect.
In a decisive move, Tinubu appointed Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas as the sole administrator of the state, effective today.
The decision follows heightened political tensions and security concerns in Rivers State, including recent explosions at oil facilities.
