According to a report from Daily Trust on Sunday, a train traveling from Kaduna State to Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, has experienced a derailment in Jere, Kaduna.
The train, carrying numerous passengers, commenced its journey from Kaduna at approximately 8:05 a.m. but encountered the derailment in Jere about an hour later.
Security personnel, including members of the Nigeria Police and Army, have been deployed to the scene to provide assistance, as it has been reported that approximately three carriages have gone off the tracks.
